Canva. Chapbook Creation Process Two

Today, I will create my final book cover with Canva.

The first step I need to take is to open the Canva search and type in "Magazine covers". From the various options of covers that will be offered, I will select the one in the middle with a blue sky background, as this is the design that I want to use for my Chapbook cover.

After clicking on the cover, I will press the blue button "Customize this temple" to edit it.

Now, I will keep this cover as an example, and will create a new page for customising. Creating a new page with black background.

For my background, I will use the same copyright-free picture that I used in Photoshop. I'll place the cat picture in the center of the background.

Now, I will add my full name on it. By pressing Add a text, I am choosing a temple I like, and type my full name. My final settings for this are:

 Lustria, 34, White colour

Now, I will in the same simple way add a title of y book. After the first cover, I decided that the title need to be more interesting than WHO KILLED MR GINGER?, so I will add some enigma and call my story THE CAT MURDER. My final settings for my title are:

Playfair display, 130, white, with red letter U

I have completed the design of my book cover and I prefer the one created on Canva compared to the one on Photoshop. Canva offers a wider range of templates and designs, and is easier to use. Although I might make further changes to the cover after its final approval, I am quite satisfied with the current design.
