- Roma — saxophonist, grew up in Vinogradar.
- Zhenya — bassist, grew up in Vinogradar.
- Kirylo — drummer, from Kremenchuk, Poltava region.
- Vlad — lead vocalist and guitarist, from Khmelnytsky.
- Misha — pianist, vocalist, guitarist, from Kryvyi Rih.
- Valik — band manager, grew up in Borschahivka.
It is interesting to begin with foundational part of the group, because their begginning took place in the first year after completing the university task "creating an original song", which became a kind of challenge for the boys, since only Misha knew how to play on musical instrument. Other participants simply took the instruments and learned everything "on the go". They used to spent hours in the basement of the House of Culture in the village of Ivankovychi (Kyiv region) to lear how to act and play at the same time.(Melnik Jan, 2023)
"Vlad: My mom made me go to a theater once, and it russed— that's my short story."(Kotovich S., 2023)
''After their shows, people feel quite different. Some are really excited and talk a lot about it. But, there are also many thoughtful and confused faces. Some are caught up in anxious thoughts, while others are trying to figure out the line between what's crazy and what's real.''(Melnik Jan, 2023)
My personal opinion about the Schmalgauzen - amazingly talanted boys, who are working in such a unique genre. They showing not only excellent command of musical instruments, but a full performance on a stage. This deserves recognition and applauses'
